HS Rechecking Results : Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) erstwhile AHSEC has recently released Assam HS Class 12 Results on 30 April 2025. Students who are not satisfied with their result/s may apply online at ASSEB Answer Script Rechecking Portal for re-evaluate & reassessment of their answer scripts. Board has launch a Platform that called ” Punarikshan ” For rechecking their answer scripts . Online process has been starting from 3rd may, 2025.

Key Point of HS Answer Script Rechecking

Here is some important note that Re-checking of Answer copies-

Rechecking of answer copies shall not mean Re-evaluation of Answer scripts.
Re-totaling of marks awarded by Examiner
Assessment of Answers which have been left out unevaluated.
Correction of wrong entry of marks of any manner .

Rechecking Results Notification:
- The rechecking results will be shared with the applicant within 30 days from the last date of application.
- The update will be sent via notification.
Revised Marksheets/Certificates (If Marks Change):
- If there’s any change in marks, the updated marksheet/certificate will only be issued after the original documents are submitted.
- The school principal must submit these to the board’s office along with a formal request.
- The board will not send marksheets directly to students, schools, or any other third party.
Rechecking Result Declaration:
- The rechecking results will be announced within 30 days from the last application date.
- Results will be available on the board’s official website.
Answer Script Copy:
- A scanned copy of the answer sheet will be emailed to the candidate using the email address provided during the application process.

HS Rechecking Application Fees.

Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹500 per subject for rechecking and to receive a scanned copy of their answer script.
The payment must be made online—no other payment methods are accepted.

How to Apply for Answer Script Rechecking

Go to the Official Portal
- Scroll down to the “Important Web Links” section.
- Click on the “HS Answer Script Rechecking Apply” link.
Register for an Account
- The “Punorikshan” portal will open.
- First-time users: Register using your Roll Number and Mobile Number.
Log In & Fill Details
- Use your newly created username and password to log in.
- Enter all required details, including Roll Number and subject information.
Pay the Application Fee
- Pay the rechecking fee online (₹500 per subject).
Submit Your Application
- Review all details and finalize your submission.
