Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses at Dibrugarh University
To Apply for DU PG Courses like Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc), and Master of Commerce (MCom) Courses candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree (Honours/Major) in the relevant subject with at least 45% marks (or equivalent grade).
OR
Candidates musthave a Bachelor’s degree (General/Pass Course Graduates) with at least 50% marks in the subject they are applying for.
Must also have 45% marks overall (aggregate).
For students under the CBCS (Choice-Based Credit System), they must have completed at least 24 credits in the subject they are applying for.
Important Notes for Appeared or Final Year Students (2025):
Candidates who are appearing or waiting for their 6th-semester BA/BSc/BCom results can also apply for DUPGET 2025. If selected, they will get provisional admission.
Even if a candidate has backlogs in 2nd or 4th semester exams, they can still appear for DUPGET and get provisional admission if selected.
