Assam D El Ed Entrance Exam 2025 : The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam, has announced admissions for a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) program for the 2025–2027 session. Eligible candidates who wish to join this course must first apply online for the Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2025.

The course will be offered through NCTE-recognized teacher training institutes in Assam (including DIET, CTE, Normal Schools, BTC, and private TEIs) during the 2025–2027 academic year.

SCERT PET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

  1. Residency: Only permanent residents of Assam can apply.
  2. Education:
    • Passed Higher Secondary (Class 12) or equivalent with at least 50% marks (excluding extra/optional subjects).
    • SC/ST/ST(H) candidates: Minimum 45% marks.
  3. Age Limit (as of 1st July 2025):
    • General: 18–34 years.
    • SC/ST(P)/ST(H): Relaxation of 2 years (max 36 years).

Reservation

  • Seats reserved for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PWD candidates as per Assam Government rules.

  • Fee: ₹600 (all categories) via Online Payment (Internet Banking/Credit/Debit Card/Wallet).

Admit Card

  • Download from https://scertpet.co.in from 5th July 2025 using your Application Number and Date of Birth.

Exam Details

  • Test Venue: Assigned to the district you choose during application (mentioned on the admit card).
  • Seat Allocation: Selected candidates will be placed in TEIs of the same district where they take the PET.
